Canada's 150th Anniversary
2017 marks the 150th anniversary of Canada's confederation. To commemorate the anniversary we are profiling our books about Canadian History.
Canadian History is one of Fitzhenry & Whiteside's fortes, including A World We Have Lost by Bill Waiser, the 2016 Governor General award winning in the Adult Non-Fiction category.
It is the story of early Saskatchewan through an Aboriginal and environmental lens. Indian and mixed-descent peoples played leading roles in the story, as did the land and climate.
