Clifford Jackman, hailed by critics as Canada's answer to Steven King, was born in Deep River and raised in Ottawa. He received a Bachelor's in English from York University, a Master's in English from Queen's University, and a Bachelor of Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. The practicing Toronto lawyer resides in Guelph (discovered by Manor House, Cliff Jackman had his first three books published by our publishing house before he was picked up by industry giants Random House, Bantam and Doubleday).
