March, Women's History Month
For many countries March is Women's History Month. Below are our top books profiling women. Plus we added our Laura Secord Cook Book.
A couple of years ago Marley Dias, an 11-year-old girl from New Jersey, was frustrated by the lack of books about black girls in her school curriculum. She launched a campaign to collect 1000 books where black girls are the main characters. Jumping on the band wagon we have assembled a list of books about black girls and women.
