Anne Compton

Anne Compton is a celebrated Canadian writer and anthologist, as well as a former university professor, originally from Prince Edward Island.

She is the editor of The Edge of Home: Milton Acorn from the Island, and co-editor of Coastlines: The Poetry of Atlantic Canada. A former teacher and writer-in-residence at the University of New Brunswick at Saint John, she developed and directed the acclaimed Lorenzo Reading Series.
