Pratt Gold Medals for Poetry (1980, 1981), and was shortlisted for the Arlene Lampert Prize (1989).Bruce is professor of English at Georgian College in Barrie where he teaches in the Laurentian University BA Program. He was Artistic Director of the Leacock Summer Festival of Canadian Literature from 1999 to 2009, and his broadcasts for CBC Radio, The Great Books and Great Poetry are the network?s bestselling spoken word CD series.
