"A deftly written novel, G Force is highly recommended reading and a popular addition to both school and community library collections."
-- Midwest Book Review
"Racing enthusiasts will enjoy the play-by-play and the technical details, and newcomers to the sport may be amazed at the strength training necessary to build stamina for a race. Both will admire the hi-tech efforts in fine-tuning cutting-edge racing machines and keeping them on the road at speeds well over 200 mph. . . Hampshire's writing is engaging enough to keep readers going, and for some of the boys who balk at books, this may be just the thing."
-- School Library Journal
"The characters have interesting relationships with each other, and the secondary characters add to the novel. There are enough clues to keep the reader involved, but the plot is simple enough for all readers. . . The detailed preparation for racing may lose some readers but will interest many others. G Force would be an excellent book for school and public libraries. The fifth book, although following the adventures of the same characters, can be enjoyed alone as well as part of the series.
Recommended."

"G Force by Anthony Hampshire is a great little book and I thought it was extremely well done. Mainly geared towards boys, this book takes an up close look at the world of racing and Indy 500. Intriguing and fun and I like the subject matter - one that is sure to interest many young boys and hopefully get them to read more."

"Hampshire deserves to take a victory lap for G Force. It's a thrilling mystery with a colorful and exciting setting that moves faster than Helio Castroneves."
-- Curled Up With A Good Kids Book
"Hampshire provides a fascinating behind-the-scenes view of this sport from the technicalities of rules that specify the number of stops and the richness of the fuel mixture to the physics of racing, and life on the race circuit when money is no object. I was pleasantly surprised to learn, and enjoy learning, as much as I did about this sport. Even with this substantial amount of informative content, the action and tension of the race and the intrigue of the plot as a whole was absolutely engaging. This was all enhanced by Hampshire's exotic cast of characters. . . I definitely recommend this novel. Hampshire brings together mystery, intrigue, danger and a touch of romance to provide an excellent story not only for reluctant readers but also for race car buffs. The story is well written and proceeds at a suitable pace with frequent chapter breaks for readers who need them.
Rating: Excellent"

"With each book in the Redline Racing Series, the reader is drawn into the racing world and held there spellbound and breathless until the final lap is run. Anthony Hampshire has succeeded in creating realistic and multidimensional protagonists who must overcome challenges and conflicts. Each of these books is a captivating read, hard to put down once you start.
Highly recommended
