Here is a bedtime board book featuring endangered animals. Baby pandas, wallabies, polar bears, red wolves, tigers, spotted owls, and Key deer nestle down for the night while a human mother reads her children to sleep and a full moon shines through the window. Brief, child—friendly animal descriptions follow the story. This bedtime story lets parents decide whether or not to introduce the concept of endangered species to the lovely, gentle, soothing poem.
