is the author of more than 85 books for young readers in a variety of genres including many poetry collections. Her books, including Mirror, Mirror and I'm Your Bus, have been honoured with many awards. She and her husband make their home in Brooklyn, New York and Washington, Connecticut.
Julia Cairns
is a fulltime fine artist and illustrator. Her children's books include We All Went on a Safari and Off to the Sweet Shores of Africa. She lives in Galisteo, New Mexico with her family.
