The Rez Sisters is Tomson Highway's classic two act play, first performed in 1986. It focuses on the hopes and dreams of a group of seven women on the Wasaychigan Hill Indian reserve. This play has been published in English and Cree and will now be available in a new Spanish edition.
Tomson Highway < br>is a celebrated playwright, novelist, and children's author. He is the author of the plays The Rez Sisters and Dry Lips Oughta Move to Kapuskasing, both of which won him the Dora Mavor Moore Award and the Floyd S. Chalmers Award. He has also written children's books including Fox on the Ice and Caribou Song. He splits his time between Northern Ontario and the south of France.
